I was thinking about this at work last night. One would think that Paramount would just pick up where they left off. Should not take this long to hear something from them since they use to support both formats. Universal, understandbly, will take a bit longer. Still...it has been almost 2 months since they ''declared'' their intentions to go blu. GIVE US SOMETHING!!!! A tease, a morsel, a hint....ANYTHING!!!!!!

I am of the understanding that there is only so much disk pressing capacity and they are at the end of the list. The time has been all bought up...

No one knows for sure, but I think they are still trying to get money out of Toshiba. Toshiba is probably arguing that since they have stopped creating HD-DVD's, they are no longer fulfilling their deal. They are probably arguing that as long as they don't release any Blu titles (hence why we have not seen any) that they are in compliance. These cases can take a long time and Toshiba is probably stalling knowing that at some point, the studios will no longer be able to hold off on releasing titles on Blu (too much lost revenue) and once they do, Toshiba will win the battle.

Personally, I think Paramount are trying to find all the blu-ray disc that they supposedly "destroyed"....Don't be too surprised if somehow shooter, Transformer etc...get released in the same week...
