Arrow For USA only. What do you support & what is your political affiliation?

After some threads that have dealt with political things, I thought it'd be interesting to see if a particular format has more of one political affiliation or not.

The choices are,
- I support HD-DVD and am a Democrat
- I support HD-DVD and am a Republican
- I support Blu-Ray and am a Democrat
- I support Blu-Ray and am a Republican
- I support both formats and am a Democrat
- I support both formats and am a Republican
- I am not politically affiliated.

***EDIT: Just in case anyone is wondering. I am not making any type of smackdown comments or anything with this thread. The only reason I'm asking is because I was curious if there happened to be any type of predominant correlation. This is just a thread based on curiosity. So do not be afraid to state your affiliations, but please do not turn this thread into a political war.

Thank you all.

I support Blu-ray and I'm registered Libertarian, however my voting habits are varied.

Well for myself, obviously I support both formats. As for politically, I am a registered Republican, but I tend to vote more towards the middle.

Last election i voted Green, Libertarian, Republican and Independent. I was about to vote Democratic for assembly, but the candidate would never answer questions regarding issues, so I declined to vote for any candidate.

I definetly lean Democratic, however there are a few good republicans who I would like to see in the White House.

I always find the american term "Liberal" interesting seeing as the rest of the world(first world countries) the american "Liberal" would be considered center right wing. Interesting how in general US is so slanted to ultra capitalistic ways. Also interesting how in some cases any hinting to a more social caring or society understanding is labeled a "Liberal"....IMO this is too bad because progression in any society is always needed to improve the country as a whole. Or else the country is just feeding off it's own people.

I'm mildly obsessed with politics and detest them all at the same time. I have no political affiliation and support both formats. But I thought the poll was interesting. Neat idea Bear89103.

thank you! It is interesting to see that we have at this current moment an even number of Democrats and an even number of Republicans.

I was actually thinking that maybe colors might correlate. But apparently not. LOL. thinking blue for democrats... so maybe more blu ray supporters are democrats. LOL! But guess not.

It'll be interesting to see what the numbers say in a few days. So far Republicans don't seem too keen on Blu-ray, but the Dems are apparently more open minded. Maybe those right-wingers really are hate mongers... JK

Word on this. I am independent, support both formats, love to talk about and hate politics at the same time. I think all politicians are liars, but I would like to See Obama for President. Are we allowed to say that?(looks over shoulder )

How about McCain with Obama as VP? We haven't seen the P and VP debate amongst themselves in a long while.

Didn't we already have a poll like this?

But anyway, I'm a registered republican, so the redness of HD DVD was a logical choice for me . Just kidding, but the coincidence does work out nicely.

damnit. Does this mean HD-DVD is gonna invade Blu-ray, looking for Discs of Mass Destruction? Only later on to say they actually wanted to Liberate us?

I didn't see one like this. But if there was one, I'm sorry.
