A punch in the face. The Trans took home the best audio award with a DD+. What happen to the Master Audio?
Very good for HD DVD and 300.

If by High-Def Title of the Year they mean worst film released then, yes I'd vote for 300 too.

Now why isn't this being reported i wonder.....

"Well... we're back from High-Def 2.0, which was actually quite a lot of fun. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the Home Media-sponsored conference (and something that was a definite topic of discussion among the attendees over the course of the day) is that the HD-DVD format was a total no-show. Not a single representative of the format was in attendance, despite the fact that they were invited and genuine efforts were made to keep the conference panels and events balanced. What's more, a number of HD-DVD titles won honors at the High-Def Awards last evening (click here for the details), and only Warner and Paramount sent representatives to accept. Universal was represented by no one."

Taken from the digital bits.

Impressive that a DD+ track won an award over all the LPCM tracks up even over 300's TrueHD track. It wasn't just the DD+ encode that was clean, but the Re-Record Mix was supreme. The Engineers that worked on Transformers are at the top of there game.

Nothing like pushing DD+ to the edge because you can't fit a lossless track on the disc. Not all DD+ titles have received as much acclaim.

Also at the conference Disney confirmed "Finding Nemo" and "Chronicles of Narnia" with PiP for a spring release.

I'm sorry but 300 was very boring, and not even close to being one of the best titles for picture quality on either format.
