Where is Weinstein?

I did not post this in the smackdown forum because I want an intelligent conversation away from fanboys on both sides. But where is Weinstein? There last release was in June. I am so looking forward to The Protector, Planet Terror, Death Proof, 1408 on HD-DVD, but where have they gone? I mean, there kinda of pulling a Fox on us on the red side by going hiatus for awhile.

I could careless which side they go on as long as they put out stuff. They just obtained the rights to the North American Distributing of "Control" and when I saw it at the Edmonton Film Fest and saw the Weinstein Logo all I could think of was Please Stop Screwing Us Over

I honestly am not sure, they can't give me an answer on that, they did give me a hint but it could be quite a few answers it isn't even worth mentioning.

No doubt!! Weinstein is milking as much as it can(1408 and Planet) on dvd and then they will release these films in hi def,imho. I have heard rumblings that they are going to go neutral.

The original plan was to go neutral, and I'm assuming it still is...except for a few titles which will be exclusive to a format from my understanding.
