That's basically WiiU all over again. I personally wouldn't want this. I'm -not- a mobile gamer, and never will be, so I don't want to be burdened with holding some super expensive controller with poor ergonomics because the designers catered to someone who might be mobile fairly often.

I want a good, ergonomic controller with two sticks, and I want a solid console experience with a fair amount of core exclusives or I won't have any interest in the thing.

Well, Nintendo has a history of supporting multiple controller methods. Especially with the Wii and WiiU. I can't imagine them wanting to completely throw that away. I think the idea is to simply combine their two markets. Though, it coming out next year seems way too soon. Especially if it's suppose to take over both the 3DS and WiiU. The 3DS just got an upgrade this year.

That's actually one of the things that I really dig about the WiiU. You can basically choose how you want to play it. Sort of like the PC.

Mario Kart? If it weren't for the lousy ass battle mode in Mario Kart 8, it would be the best one.

Best Mario? That either goes to Mario Galaxy 2 or Mario 3D World.

I'd agree that LTTP was the best overall, but I was speaking strictly about 3d Zelda's which started with OoT and have never gotten any better than that.

You are correct. I haven't bothered to finish a Zelda since OoT.

Eh. I recently played OoT. It's good, but Majora's Mask is great and Wind Waker is pretty great.

Here's the appropriate Zelda rankings, from best-to-worst (no CDi games!)

    1. A Link to the Past
    2. Wind Waker
    3. Ocarina of Time
    4. Majora's Mask
    5. A Link Between Worlds
    6. The Legend of Zelda
    7. Minnish Cap
    8. Link's Awakening
    9. Oracle of Ages/Seasons
    10. Twilight Princess
    11. Skyward Sword
    12. Four Swords Adventures
    13. Phantom Hourglass
    14. Spirit Tracks
    15. Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link (Suck a dick, Zelda 2)
    Great quotes on the internet:

I hear Galaxy is brilliant, and it probably is. Just can't picture myself sitting down and playing it. That would take time away from watching the Disney Channel and working on my coloring book.

While an unpopular opinion, I think those two are among the worst zelda entries in the entire series. Majora's mask adds a totally unwanted and unnecessary mechanic (time-pressure), and it's world sucked / was super bizarro and fit into the Zelda universe like a square peg into a round hole. Wind Waker was too kiddy for me, and the cell shading just made it worse -- I had a really hard time keeping in to it. I also hated all of the ocean traveling I had to do before fast travel unlocked.

I thought Twilight Princess was fine, probably quite a bit higher than 10th.

Hmmm I dont know, I play most of mine (unless I'm playing with friends) without using chat at all. Most of the time its annoying idiots swearing, calling each other names, background music playing, kids yelling, wife yelling, something yelling. Its pretty constant, yeah not having at least private chat enabled for a team is pretty dumb, but regular public chat I can always do without and end up muting everyone else

I only talk to people I know. I ignore chat it all other instances. It is lame that there is no choice for some type of chat, but it doesn't break the game.
