PS3 Smackdown vs Raw 2010 Question

My wife gave me an early Christmas gift...Smackdown vs Raw 2010 for my PS3.

I'm not a very big gamer, but do enjoy certain titles, this being one of them. Here's my question...

I downloaded from the PS store the roster update for the 2009 version, that added such wrestlers as: Vader, Million Dollar Man, and Dusty Rhodes. Can you not import/download them to the 2010 version of the game?

The 2009 update downloaded successfully, but when I went in to view the roster, the updated wrestlers weren't there.

Can anyone offer some clarification for me? Thanks!

To address your question, I'm afraid you have an update for a past version of the game which will not be compatible with the current.
