Nice I will refrain from making any judgment on this till I see clear images. I can tell right off though that the mountains look bad. On th flipside, the image in the very first post of the rifle looks pretty good despite the blurriness.

Yeah it does but honestly Halo 3 doesn't really look great. I mean it's not terrible but it's pretty basic in form of textures and polys.

You can kind of tell whats going on plus you can tell it has a better lighting model and the weapons are higher res. Even from the camera phone you can tell the visuals are crisper. I mean you could camera phone parts of Gears of War and i'd be =o but Halo just looks like Halo most of the time. It's not a bad thing but it almost always comes off as one trick pony a lot of the times on the visuals.

It's not so much the raw graphics i'm interested in but the change in art direction. This is a step in the Call of Duty realistic look I think Halo needs to make.

I want a tempo like the ODST commercials damnit!

Neither Sony or Microsoft can claim any victory as they have sunk billions into their consoles and even if one outsells the other they will not turn a profit this gen.. If you want to wait call Sony a winner after needing 3+ years to be this good then I feel sorry for you, go multi console and be happy, I know i'm loving it..

On topic, Halo: Reach whether its good or not will sell like crack and spank every exclusive FPS out there in sales. The only shooter to rival/surpass it will be COD and its on every damn platform imagineable.

Okay, we'll see next fall buddy. Could you define irrelevant for us? I mean when Reach breaks X record in sales & revenue i'd just like to know what makes it irrelevant.

Halo 3 was the last in a trilogy. The likely hood we'll see a game titled Halo 4 anytime soon is unlikely. Reach is Halo 4 really. You sound bitter about the series success. Weird.

Fun facts:

Reach will use Natal in some way so it's reported.

New showcase for X engine supposedly. We'll see how it turns out.

Beta starts sometime next year, I'd imagine late spring. Keep your copy of ODST!

That's what mikey normally does, apparently Cochise handles things differently. I'm of the opinion it should all be deleted but that's just me.
