I'd like to see some screenshot comparison between the two.. hopefully some will surface today.

Amazon kinda screwed me. They shipped every single version of the game BUT the collectors edition for PS3. They still have my preorder for it flagged for Nov 20th release. Id pick it up somewhere else and say screw it, but the CE is pretty damn hard to find now. Guess I'll work on my backlog in the meantime.

According to the Dragon Age website, there is no distinction between versions when it comes to the dragon armor.

The bonus is being able to carry it over into mass effect if you have it. Otherwise, you just use it during the play through of Dragon Age.

well that's pretty bitchin, I thought I read on kotaku it was 360 exclusive initially. I figured that was MS's hook to get you into their version.

Mass Effect will probably only be a timed exclusive anyhow.

Like me, you might not have Dragon Age: Origins on your list of definite must-buys and potential game of the year candidates, but I'm here to tell you that you should. It's a glowing example of the RPG genre done very right -- and an experience you'll still be finding surprising, memorable moments in for months to come.

Gotta wait 'till Friday for mine to be delivered. Waited too long to preorder the LE and Amazon was the only place I could find it.

Yeah, this is exactly what happened to me.

This is absolute crap. Someone dropped the ball here, either Amazon, or EA. But I've had this thing preordered since September and some people are just able to one click order this and get it this Friday while I wait, and gave Amazon/EA more of my hard earned cash

Well I got the 360 CE... no CE's for the PS3 version so hopefully the difference is not too bad. I'm getting the PC version as well anyways which will be the definitive version what with the Isometric view, better controls and graphics.

I am a little worried about this game now, bad frame rate and so so graphics don't sound too appealing. I had to order my ce from the EA store, amazon has been sold out for like a month. Hopefully an install to the old hard drive will fix this.

Well this game was clearly developped for the PC in mind. Lower grade textures aren't that noticeable with an isometric view (which the console version don't have).

Also the framerate issues are on the PS3, the 360 has the lower textures.

I'm not too picky on RPGs normally, but this is Bioware. I would expect it to be high production. So hopefully an install makes some of the issues less present. I guess I will find out tonight.

As long as the game works when I install it, I don't care! Kazzah!

I think I'll delete all my Fallout 3 expansions to make room for a Dragon Age install. I can always redownload anyways.
