2. Pressing the 0 key does nothing, making hunting down an actual person more difficult.

3. Long messages each time you call, and a system that refuses to accept input from you until the message is finished despite you memorizing the appropriate response.

4. Too much love for voice responses. Tell me again why I can't just type in my phone number? Especially if your system isn't going to be able to understand my verbal response.

5. When I finally get put in queue to speak with a representative, I am forced to wait with no update as to how many people are in front of me or given an ETA. I only ever found one phone support system that did this and don't see why they can't all do so.


Needless to say, after 10 minutes of waiting, with no idea how long I'd be kept online, I hung up before I got to the part where they transfer me around until my connection gets dropped and I have to start all over.


I sent them one final email telling them I'll pay for shipping myself if they just give me the address and any other required info to put on the shipping label. Still waiting on a response from them, but if this doesn't work I'll concede and cut my losses. Just buy a new 360 at some later date if I want any of their games badly enough to do so.
I share your pain. I fucking hate these automated systems, especially when they don't expressly offer an option to speak to an agent. For Sony's line, you hit zero and it gives you a few more phone menus but will connect you to a CSR, but it doesn't expressly tell you that you can hit zero.

I don't think the default phone options have ever helped a soul in the history of human kind.... >_> In fact, I just don't think it, I know it for absolute, undeniable fact. Without a CSR, a phone system cannot help someone anywhere near as effectively as a human being on the other end.

Oh and UPS's phone system fights you tooth and nail on getting a CSR, but it'll give up if you say "agent" enough.

They change up the menus all the time, too, which means knowing the trees doesn't mean anything.


Oh and my PS3 is running smoothly thus far.

XBOX ELite got the E74 error. Looks like a video card fault to me. The video was like every 4 line displayed on my screen and then went blank. The e74 messagge appeared and the one red light on the bottem right lit up.

Thank god I have 3 of them. LOL. I guess gaming an average of 80 hours a week is not good for these things. LOL.

Sending in for repair for free. Got to love the 3 year warranty on these units.

Okay that's fucked up. It just undeaded itself... Kinda. Now it'll play games for all of five to ten minutes before the screen goes all funky and the system freezes. It's strange because it was actually getting the Red Ring of Death but now it boots just fine. It just won't play games for any extended period of time.

I'm pretty sure it tried to eat my Halo 3 disc, too. >_<

I am so fucking pissed off right now. Yesterday I recieved my factory renewed xbox elite that they sent in replace of my rrod unit. Would you know. I turn it on and try to play my mw2 and the disc drive doesnt work. It only reads cds. Tried everything. Called tech support and they said send it back and that is all they can do. This pisses me off. 2 weeks and now I have to waste more time. I am probably goiung to start getting all my games non exclusive games on ps3 now.

I am talking to a senior manager today in an hour they told me he would call me. God this pisses me off. Friday the 13th wouldn't you know.
