I find most these days confuse a brain with pretentious.

Did you watch the videos in the cave under the windmill? The only one that I thought was ok was the science guy, the rest were just so smug. That is why I used pretentious, they believe themselves to be the most intelligent people, but they don't really have much to offer, just hot air.

I honestly dislike Jonathan Blow so I'm already hardwired to dislike the game but I'm willing it to give it a chance, maybe it will be the right game at the right time for me.

The game and the puzzles were fine, it is just the videos and audio logs I didn't like.

I'm just playing Gravity Rush 2 this week, with Yakuza 0 "somewhere in the pipeline." I broke with tradition and ordered this physically from Amazon because my wife wanted the business card holder you get with the physical pre-order. But since I was in no rush, and this is Canada, when I cheaped out on free shipping, they bumped down my delivery date to sometime next week, which suits me just fine.

However, thanks to that damn sale that just dropped on PSN this week, I picked up Among The Sleep and the XL edition of Just Cause 3.

Gravity Rush 2 is starting to wear on me, or at least it's not holding my interest as I thought it would.

Wow, it's having the opposite effect on me. How far along are you? Did you hit the first city yet?

Yep, I'm partially through it and just did the big boss battle. Don't get me wrong I like the game, it's just in the face of 3 more games I want to play, my interest in finishing it before I move on is starting to wane.

I can kind of relate. Yakuza 0 unexpectedly showed up at my door today after all, and being a Yakuza Soap Opera Junkie, it's hard to ignore the siren call of beatin' fools in Kamurocho.

I'm going into RPG withdrawal and Tales of Berseria is here and my horror game itch is going off as well now that I'm looking at Resident Evil 7. It doesn't help that Yakuza Zero, Gravity Rush 2, and Tales of Berseria are all 30-40+ hour games.

Yeah, I eased up on the purchases for this quarter, so I wouldn't generate too huge a back log. It's just Yakuza and Gravity Rush 2 for me this month. I'll put RE7 off for maybe a sale, since I'll be playing that in VR, and that's actually making me dread the experience.

Next month is Horizon Zero Dawn and possibly Tides Of Numenara, then March is Nier, Mass Effect, The Longest Journey Dreamfall Chapters and possibly Star Trek: Bridge Crew, with April being all about Persona 5.
