Yeah, I want to rebuild my Wii and SC IV stick with some better parts as I really don't like the sticks or buttons on either. Both are pretty much identical.

Serves em right. Nothing sucks more then winning and someone dropping the fight adding a disconnect to both himself and you. Now they get flagged and we can just kick them from rooms.

60 hit combo and it's a pain in the ass. I tried to do it last night but couldn't get the timing down. Both that one in the Hakumon one are supposed to be a pain in the ass to pull off. By contrast I did the Spoonful of Sugar one by myself XD

I managed to do Ragna's astral heat in training.

I was very happy to see that Arcade is sort of storyish. There's dialog between some of the characters. So here I am, cruising along in Ragna's arcade mode and then I hit V-13. Holy sweet mother of god she is cheap with the AI. She spams those slow spells underneath me and rains shit all over the place. Her damn distortion is near impossible to avoid or block.

I'm finding the game is really not balanced. I mean I know it's typical of Japanese fighters to have tiers in the characters (ex: SF4 top tier had Sagat, Zangief and a few others) but this one goes quite a bit further. Seems top tier is Nu, Arakune, Rachel and V-13.

Having a blast with it though. Just need to realize that all the characters aren't made to be equal. I've never played Guilty Gear but should an HD GG come out, I'd be all over it. One thing is for sure, I certainly do not experience the rage I did with SF4. Holy fuck did SF4 ever turn me into Temper Tantrum poster child when I lost against the CPU or strangers. Loosing to friends never bothered me though. Strange how that is.

Not sure who my main will be yet. Definitely not Ragna whom I've been focusing on lately for story and arcade. He's too mid tier to my liking. I really liked Noel (her Distortions are fucking amazing) but apparently she's the second most used character online next to Jin which turns me off. It may end up being Arakune and Hakumen although I haven't tried playing as Bang yet. Definitely do not like Taokaka.

I'm getting to a point where my Hori Fighting Stick 3 is not sufficient though. The dead zone in the stick is a little too much to my liking and not as responsive as I'd like. Definitely need an upgrade.

FYI: Nu = V-13, and I found out you can unlock her and Hakumen by finishing all the story modes.

You should just order a stick and some buttons from Lizard Lick. You can fix up your stick all perty like.

Oops. Mistake on my part. Nice to know how to unlock Hakumen and Nu. I really like Hakumen but he's pretty slow. That one distortion of his is a bitch though. Like half health gone and it's hard to avoid.

I wanted to mod my stick but the FS3 is a bitch to mod because the buttons are soldered to the PCB and frankly, after buying the parts, I might as well just buy a better stick. The panel is also too small and too light to my liking.

Was a good beginner stick but I feel I've out grown it now.

I'd say from my experience, I'd stick the following as

S) Nu, Arakune, Rachel
A) Jin
B) Noel, Ragna
C) Taokaka
