Mass Effect 2 Teaser

Game doesn't look much better than ME1, but the gunplay does seem a lot faster, and the textures seem like they don't have to load-in, so those are two of the things I had wrong with ME1 fixed, now the biggest thing I just need to know about is if ME2 got rid of the crappy sidequests.

Looks a lot sharper IMO. Gameplay looks much much better. Squad commands look good!

I hope this goes multi-platform. I'm more of a science-fiction guy than fantasy, so the Mass Effect series is a stand out IP for me.

mass effect is still my favorite game for the 360, possibly this gen.

Splinter Cell & Alan Wake along with God of War 3... capcom is going to fall on it's face re-releasing RE5 & SF4.

Way too much coming out early next year. Guessing some will get pushed further. Bioshock 2 perhaps.

How will they fall on their face? The games are already created...basically if they can sell 100k each of the rereleases worldwide they'll recoup the costs of rereleasing them with the added features.

It happened before.

Lost Planet, Street Fighter 2, Resident Evil 1 are all perfect examples of that concept.

The RE5 stuff isn't as bad but they outta make it a DLC option.

SF4 is BS if you ask me, title update or DLC it. If this happened with every release i'd start buying the 2nd versions rather than day 1.

I'm fine with GoTY editions and all that, but I don't like what they're doing with Street Fighter 4. I don't recall the old revamps being done so soon.

But the amount of time RE's have been redone in general is ridiculous. Only worthwhile changes came with the gamecube re-invention of 1.

Well, I can tell you the revamps were done more and more often back int he day. SFIII had three different versions within 2.5 years I think. Street fighter 2 had about 4 different versions altogether and half of them were on different systems and exclusive(Tournament edition for genesis only). however, I do agree that it should be DLC considering we are in the digital age and that was back in the 93s and 98s where it wasn't as prevalent.

Although I tihnk SSF4 is releasing at a budget price(40) so it isn't all bad.

EDIT: SF3 was released in Feb. '97, Double Impact in Oct. '97, and Third Strike in May '99.
