I won't buy either version, but the PS3 D-pad is a billion times better than the Xbox 360s, so that would be the one to buy, unless you have a joystick.

I kinda want the Xbox 360 version, but I know I'll either have to buy a fightpad or joystick and that's just too much money right now for one game. So I'll prob go with the ps3 version...just hope people will be online with it for awhile.

It's a lot better, and there are high level Tekken players who play with a pad. Try playing a good fighter seriously with a 360 pad, and you'll be stomping on the damn thing for screwing up delicate combos. For SF and VF though, a stick is the only way to go because of the button layout.
Strictly for fighters, the SNES one took a back seat to the Genesis/Saturn D-pad. -

Im really suprised so many lean towards the ps3. Im guessing alot of cheapasses are gonna be using the ps3 controller and no getting sticks and 6 buttons.

I'm getting a stick...and still getting for the PS3. It has nothing to do with "cheapness", and more to do with preference. To me, a fighting game now and days should be decided by what community you prefer. I feel the PS3 will offer more challenging and legit players. However, I see the benefit of getting it on the 360 because the Average Joe will be playing on that.
