Finished up Root Letter. Kind of a mediocre visual novel, but the novelty of how they set game in a real town, and the whole virtual tourism angle was pretty interesting. That and it was an easy plat.

Finished up the new Prey game and it ended up being pretty damn good. Solid 85 I'd say, though there are some rough patches. In the early game where it's dull, and in the late game where there's a massive difficulty spike (if you didn't invest in a way to deal with them by chance). Almost makes me want to playthrough again to fix all my dumb mistakes that got random people killed just to see how it would affect the outcome.

Well I've finished my move... I mean not the unpacking, that'll probably take months to do, but I beat a couple Vita games. No accompanying pics though since my computer isn't set up (can't find any keyboards, they're in a box somewhere).

    Root Letter
I enjoyed my 1st play through where it was a horror story. The rest fell mostly flat.

    Criminal Girls 2
Finished all regular endings. Still working on real endings. Fun little turn based game. The motivation parts are just a little creepy. Oh well.

I got my internet and game room set up now, so Vita games will be put to back burner so I can get onto some Persona 5.

Finished up Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, which turned into another 40+ hour game to slow down my backlog completion. Cliff hanger ending aside I really enjoyed it. Fun cast, good story, and a really cool universe, though the actual SRPG elements are a bit weak.

    8.5/10

Now to wait for September so I can find out how the story ends with the final game.

I completed the first run through of Nier this morning, and started my second playthrough. I'd argue that the second playthroughs opening is a "tad worse" than the first. It's a mild troll. I laughed...but had to repeat it because I went off course. :/

    Not yet.

Is that on the second playthrough? I just completed this morning. It actually surprised me. Thought there would be more. Only did about 50% of the sidequest.

The game is a bit deceptive that way, but it's a Yoko Taro game, so... yeah. You may be right, that might be in the second playthrough, or it may be a side-quest, I've already forgotten, but the game starts feeling a little bit different on playthrough 2, and then gets REALLY different after playthrough 3.

Injustice 2 story mode a few days ago. Still messing with everything else. Women are designed much better than the last or even the last few MK games. Looking forward to future dlc characters that aren't from MK.

The problem is I play this game in severe chunks then walk away from it for a few weeks. So, I forget a lot of it.

Probably my least favorite Atelier game in a long time, it's mostly the Valium induced gameplay that the series is known for but the post game is super obtuse with what you need to do, and grindy. May try for a couple more endings but right now I'm in the mood for a shooter of some sort.

Persona 5. 180 hours. That was one long fucking game.

What can say? It was great. But that was just really really long. The story was strong, but what game doesn't lose some steam over such a long period of time?

I feel like shooting something. Maybe FarCry 4.
