Add Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe (PS3) to my collection.

Just ordered it. Don't know which version it actually is. The Amazon Marketplace merchant sold it as "Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe: Kollektors Edition", but quoted it as "Limited UK Steelbook".

Well, for £25 I don't even care, as long as it is some kind of SE/LE/CE.

Made a list here of everything I currently own. The lack of old systems (which included a MSX2 and the original MD) is due to the fact that I moved quite a bit from in the early 90's. The recent Genesis collection basically had all the games I owned on the console, so I got rid of it in Dec.

I'm not lying when I say it is the most fun game I've played this year. I still got 5-6 levels left in Arcade mode!

Ya... I checked out the DLC Xtreme Legends... it's 2400pts!!!!

Yeah, it is, but that has nothing to do with the online mode. But let me tell you what you get with it.

250 achievement points.
6 more characters + their stories.
5th level weapon.
Mercenary mode.
Socketing of gems, etc.
Extra Character Skills
70th character level, instead of 50.
Bodyguards level increased from 20 to 30

It's not really necessary, but let me tell you, the guard achievements are a freaking pain in the ass, so I just broke down and got it for the easy way out. You basically have to go up a tower and get to level 75. Problem is the highest you get to start from is 50. So it's like Lost Odyssey addon content, where you have to fight the rest of the way. Once you get there, there are several time trials where you have to beat some of the generals within a certain amount of time....and that is almost impossible when they block all the time. I think it could have been done with the right character, but the guy I had leveled up kind of sucked for General killing, so I was kind of pissed.

So instead of facing them with a level 50 character you faced them with a level 70?

It's crazy fun that is for sure! Really reminds me of playing arcade games at the local pizza resturant when i was a kid! Only now I'm not making my parents go bankrupt asking for quarters

Well no. The 2 guards are playable characters in the expansion, so they replace them with 2 new guards that you can buy in the store for 6400 gold. Once you buy them, you just save the game for the achievement. Much better than going through the tower of hell. Also there are three mounts, both of which are damn good, but Moon Child is IMO the best. You can buy them as DLC, or you can get them in the tower at Level 70. The missions are hard, but doable. You can only unlock 1 horse per run, so I never got the other one, mainly because Moonchild makes it so you can't be knocked off, which is just huge. There are some guards you can buy, 1 for each class that are better than all the top tier guards in the basic game. I ended up getting them all, since I just loved the game so much. They were only like 40 points each. Really, they weren't that crucial though since most the time I used the guards from the expansion.
