No, ME3 (original) ending was unique in its horribleness. But I look forward to how they "fixed" it.
So? I'm a bit curious because I have only played the revised ending which was disappointing but not as bad as I had heard. I was obviously going in with low expectations though.

Anyway, I got titanfall 2 on sale and it's really something. Best sci fi shooter I' ve played in a while.

Also played a bit Witcher 3 Blood and Wine but I'm finding it a bit hard to care this time so I've put it aside for the moment.

I picked up Dark Souls II on the PSN sale. So, I am finally giving it a go. I have played all the others I just passed over II.

Feel into a rut of non-gaming these past couple of weeks but it's time to get back to work. Working on Tales of Berseria currently. It's pretty much a typical Tales game but after Resident Evil 7 i'm looking for something a bit less visceral. Gave Nioh and Yakuza 0 both a brief go and enjoyed them, but didn't want to commit.. yet.. May try and burn through For Honor's campaign this week since I hear it's pretty short.

I'm still on Yakuza 0 and soon to be playing Psychonauts: The Rhombus of Ruin on PS VR tonight. Horizon is next week.

    Odallus: The Dark Call

Odallus is a Castlevania Clone in the vain of the earlier titles. It isn't an exact clone, but definitely in that ballpark. It's quite fantastic and I recommend it. It's not impossibly hard.

Not sure, I've killed a couple and escaped before I figured out the whole shooting out tires trick, but yeah they can be pretty brutal at times. They did not approve of me sneaking into a police station to steal a playboy.

So weird that we're both playing Mafia III right now. I guess we both got suckered in by that last sale.

I'm enjoying the game but at the same time... yeah, I think this game didn't NEED to be open world. The story itself is strong enough that it could have stood up on it's own, and they don't do enough with the open world that it feels like it needed all this space. Something like Witcher III or Skyrim, there's an element of exploration, where you want to know what's out there beyond what's just laid out in your map as icons indicating different activities. But with city games like Assassin's Creed or this one, you pretty much know what's out there, so the only value in the size of the real estate is more space to hide collectibles.

I picked it up recently, but I got it off Amazon. Mostly I just noticed your post and after bailing on Ghost Recon I figured I'd give it a try.

Personally I'm actually starting to get sick of open world games, I enjoy them still, but I agree with you that this one would have been a bit tighter if it was a tad more linear. Then again I do like hunting down my vintage playboys.

Been rotating between remasters: TLoU, Darksiders, and Uncharted 2. I got to Tiamat on Darksiders, so I'm not exactly excited to smash my head against the desk for hours on end trying to get past her.

Uncharted 2 is still stupid fun. That shotgun is great.
