Default Why is Socom only $39.99 on PS3?

Is it multiplayer only or something?

Strange...no single player for Socom huh?

Oh well the multiplayer is all I really cared about anyway.

Eh, I hate MP only titles like that.... One of the big reasons why I never bothered with Quake 3.

I don't get the GT5: Prologue analogy at all, they're not comparable. SOCOM: Confrontation is an intended full game as it is. GT5: Prologue is not. What you get with Confrontation is what you get, with a complete online mode, while Prologue is a bunch of half assed modes intended for further testing to improve GT5, the real game which is bound to come out within a year or so. I'd say for 39.99, you got your bang for your buck with Warhawk, and if SOCOM gets the support that Warhawk did, then I imagine it'll be the same. So, the analogy falls in line with Warhawk, not Prologue.

I thought i read they were releasing a Socom game later on with the same maps from this and single player.

Maybee im wrong, but i thought thats what i read. If so its no different. If im wrong well then its more like Shadowrun, warhawk.

Yeah, there is no existing SOCOM game with SP coming out in the near future.

It's just Confrontation, so the MP only. Making it like Warhawk and Shadowrun.
