Register To Vote Through Your X-Box!!

starting today through an initiative between Microsoft and "Rock the Vote" you can register to vote through your x-box console.
sorry, no other details, but perhaps someone else can post a link.
I just saw a story on ABC news about this.

Man, thats crazy. Although if you read a thread or 2 in the GC Smackdown this doesnt make sense because the 360 is for kiddies and you have to be 18 to vote (that would make a good "dumb" thread lol

pretty cool but anyone can already register to vote over the internet, or i hope they already did when they turned 16 and got a drivers license.

Considering that whole "vote or die" thing with Puffy last year didn't really bring in the youth of voters, I don't think the Xbox will help to much.

That's extremely cool... oh, but they still have to get off their asses and stand in line to vote on election day. Generation X can't handle that.

when someone renews their drivers license, they can register to vote via the motor voter bill which i guess would be at 20 if they were lazy around their 18th birthday. a peeve of mine in general is that people can operate a dangerous vehicle at 16, but can't do much of anything else until 18.
