Default Bad Company

For a while I took a slight break from gamingbut now it seems that gaming bug has biten me again. Im wondering about Bad Compay. Im about to finish my 2nd play through of MGS4 and was curious as to how the SP campaign rates. Im a pretty big shooter fan and in fact the PS3 games im looking forward to most are shooters(Killzone, Resistance 2, Far cry 2).Ijust wanted to figureout if Ishould go ahead and pick it up, or wait and savemy money for Force Unleashed next month.

Id like to think if Nathan Hale and Marcus Phoenix ever met they would go grab a nice cold beer and talk about how to get blood stains out of there clothes

I would say that Bad Company is definately worth the pick-up. I play it non-stop (online). The campaign is good too...but im mainly for the online part of it. I love Star Wars, but I didn't care for the Force Unleashed demo. Something about it just didn't hit me right. Maybe if it took place with more well known characters..I dunno. I plan on passing on that game anyway...Bad Company was one of the best games I've ever bought. I have the 360, so I'm assuming its the same for both platforms. If you can get a demo, try it out, thats what convinced me.

buy at your own risk. bad company is okay online but it just repeats itself over and over again. There was only 1 game mode from launch and until recently I think they finally added another game mode. I'd stick to cod4 instead. Buy bad company used for under $30 if possible but not for retail price.

It's awesome online. They did add conquest mode to the online play. The maps are the same, but they are huge. Eventually I'm sure they will add more maps, but for now, this game is awesome. I haven't played enough of COD 4 to make a comparison, but with Bad Company, I really dont' want to play much else. I find some people online to be a little annoying. A lot of them want to be snipers...just snipers...all the time. you end up getting a bunch of people sitting in the trees trying to pick people off instead of acting like a team player and helping out. I wish they would make squads that only had one of each type character. I usually use a submachine gun, but my other squad members are usually snipers, so I spawn WAY WAY far away from the action, and with a submachine gun, thats pretty worthless to me. I have to run across large fields just asking to get picked off.

I loved the Single Player in Bad Company...definately more than I did for COD4's single play campaign. Just so many different ways you can roll through and tear up a map.

Try to find the gold edition. You get 4 extra guns.

Theres nothing like going through a map blowing up houses and trees...the completely destructible environment is the cats ass!

the game is awesome. i'd say skip the gold edition though. it's not worth the $10 for the 5 guns which you get when you level up to 25.

Yes this game is great. I love the new objective download.

COD4 is also another great MP game to try out.
