Default Favourite Baseball games

Any recommendations on a good baseball game to buy? Can be xbox/xbox360, ps1/2/3 or wii/gamecube. I still love playing RBI Baseball (arcade version via Mame from 1986), so it doesn't have to be a new game in particular. Just wondering what other baseball fans consider some classics that have great gameplay, whether new or old.

Gonna get bashed, but BIGS is probably my favorite right now. I like the arcade style playing with some friends.

Is that out on the Wii Arcade downloads, or whatever it is called?

I have to agree that MVP Baseball 2005, but I had it on Xbox. That was the last GREAT baseball game to come out. Now I play MLB The Show 08 and its really pretty decent and reminiscent of MVP, but the fielding isn't as smooth.

MVP Baseball 2005 was the deal.

As far as current though, I'd say MLB 08 The Show hands down.

The only one I've ever played is the one gifted to me recently: MLB 08 The Show. I don't have a frame of reference for how good it is, but it seems very sophisticated and accurate to real baseball. Plus, the visuals are spectacular. However, I suck at it, hard.

Nice recommendations, that makes a list of 3: MVP Baseball 2005 , MLB 08 The Show and I can probably get an emulated version of Baseball Stars...
