Default 360 question

Ok so i have the ps3 and I have it hooked up HMDI. I am buying either the 60 gig 360 or the elite this weekend...still debating between the 2. If I go with the 60, is it still best I get hmdi for hookup or will component do just fine. I got my hdmi cable at monoprice so its not like im spending alot

thanks

D

PQ wise it doesnt matter. But hdmi is convenient.

Me: So then your claiming NPD #'s, correct? No, I dont think the NPD will estimate that the ps3 outsold the 360.
James: Your statements are an excellent example of a strawman argument.

WTF????

component is fine for games, but not upscaling movies or watching HD-DVD's in 1080P.
verify your TV accepts 1080P over component, also.

I'd go with HDMI between the two options

The 60 Gig should have HDMI, They added it to the Pro consoles a while back. BUT, since your current TV only does 720p/1080i, component will be fine.

There is a $100 difference between the 60GB, and the 120GB Elite. Unless you really plan on needing the extra 60GB, the Premium 60GB is the way to go. You can get the HDMI cable for cheap. The Elite isn't worth the extra $100.

you can get the elite for 350 at dell.com free shipping. i got mine last week when it was 300 for the elite shipped.

60gb for 300.
120gb for 350.

not a hard choice.

I was just at Dell, and they only have the Elite Bundle for $450. Which is the normal retail price. Were they having a sale? I would have got one at that price.

They also have the 20GB for $299, and a 20GB bundle with an extra controller, etc for $398. I don't see the 60GB listed on their site.
