Alone in the Dark, play it now!
I know almost everyone over looked alone in the dark due to its crappy scores but, I download the demo and absolutly loved it.
I was inspired to buy the game. If you're willing to learn the controlls you will love this game. This game is generations ahead of the curve for gameplay. If you wanna do something just do it. Doors lock? Gotta find a key like in any surviver horror right? No you simply bust the door down. You can use almost anything as your weapon to. Add fire to bullets and shoot fire bullets Take bug spray and light things on fire. Its just endless possablities. The controlls are actually fantastic and allow you to do pretty much anything. The game also features some great dialog and "amazing" voice actors. You feel like your in a realistic situation. Everything is very belivable. If this game doesnt become a cult classic I dont know what will. Do yourself the favor and rent the game. The demo will make you think its only average but as soon as you get to the first drivin scene you will realise how epic this game is. Very hard game though. Not for those who can stand dying tons of times. There is no forgivingness in this game.

I made the mistake of purchasing this for a full 60$ price point.
Honestly I forgot I owned it and needed to finish it until you made this thread..

I got this off of gamefly, really did not like it at all. It didnt feel complete. Sloppy controls, horrible voice acting, I guess its hard to play these survival horror games when everything is compared to resident evil
|
