Yeah that's what bothered me the whole time I watched the vid. It doesn't look close to the target renders. There are brief moments that it does touch upon it. The backgrounds look much better. But for a 2008 game, I can't see giving this game much higher than an 8 in graphics. Everything else looks pretty good though

that looks awesome. at 4 min 40 sec into the video there is blood around outer edge of screen, ala Gears of War. funny since these two games are, and have been, tied to each other (originals were co-games of the month in Game Informer, sequels released within a day of each other). the July issue of Game Informer says there will be small, squad vs squad battles in large team death matches. says extra squad may be called in if one squad is getting owned by an opposing squad.

thats cause they have been rivals since existense. Back in 2006 it was Sonys mega hitter(Ressistance) vs. 360s PS3 stopper(GOW).
Im pretty sure every gaming magazine had some sort of CLASH OF THE TITANS thing.

Its ok, its just another FPS. Once you play Halo and COD4 everything else is meh.
I got it for the hype but i think ill pass on part 2.

To me, it is far better than any of the Halo games. I never understood the hype of Halo as I find it pretty much nothing original whatsoever.

Resistance is a great FPS, and it works well in multiplayer and coop, whether you have someone in the same room playing with you or online.

It also has some of the most unique and fun weapons, which make gameplay all the more enjoyable. I would say that Gears is probably more liked, but Resistance is definitely one to get if you like FPS.

guess I'm one of the few, but I'll take Resistance over Gear and day. IMO, Gears has really poor weapon variety. Guess thats why I like Resistance, COD 4 and RSV 1/2 over Halo, Gears, and Orange Box.

I say get both. Resistance's online looks could be very unique and interesting, plus the 8 player co-op could be great fun. And I've always thought that the story of Resistance was interesting. Two generic storylines twisted together, but it was presented pretty well.
