WHEN I get the game I'll keep this in mind, thank you : )

i'm several hours into this game and really quite enjoying it.
like that it's a mix of several genres from RPG to platformer to shooter.
the soundtrack is great, plot use of existential robots is about played out. really bothers me how NPC's speak their first couple lines then switch to text, PS2 era.
framerate is all over the place, textures can vary from good to downright awful.

not sure how i feel about playing through multiple times with different characters but will see how it goes.

Download the fan patch, and remove god rays/global illumination. Should lock that frame rate right around 60fps.

If you actually enjoy the game keep playing it. I almost quit at Ending A and that would have been a major mistake on my part.

Finished nier, really enjoyed 3rd playthrough as A2 and plight of 9S enough to see both their endings.
Will likely double dip on steam version someday.

“Trophy shop” is interesting concept, I wonder how long before EA/activision let you buy trophies with microtransactions

Haven't been into the PC lately. Had a string of games with frustrating technical issues, so I've been spending more time on PS4.

I thought tech issues on PC were over with.

Guess consoles still reign supreme /sarcasm

The only issues I've had recently were with the controller setup updates on Steam. It was overriding my configs. I couldn't play Tekken 7 with my Hori stick. Fixed it by deleting and reinstalling the controller config from Steam.

Bought Megaman Collection 2 on Steam.

I would get the recent Cold Steel but I'm going to San Fran and it seems stupid to spend $40 before travelling.

I know you're being sarcastic, but I honestly prefer the idea of being able to fix it myself. When a console breaks, there isn't much a user can do to fix it but buy a new one or go through warranty. It's like having your hands tied. As frustrating as PC problems can be, I feel I can fix it myself most of the time. Granted, that time is usually incredibly frustrating because I'm trying to figure it out. Still, it's something I can address without a middle man most of the time. Which is a relief.

Also, the community is pretty damn good at helping you out. As your problem probably isn't isolated.

I'm the opposite. If a console shits out, I know there's nothing I can do about it. I just have to ask if I got my money's worth from it for the price I paid for it. If so, then I don't feel to bad about them dying. Then there's the other question: Will I theoretically get enough use out of another one to justify the cost? Most of the time the answer is yes.

I'd rather take a half hour trip to Target than spend hours reading over message boards trying to troubleshoot a phantom software problem. At least with a n RROD 360, or a YLOD PS3 you know exactly what the problem is and what is required.

    ----------------------

The above said, I still love my PC and will get back to it eventually. I also got bitten by the Trophy bug again once I saw a couple of my buddies had creeped up a level or two. I know it's super petty, but I still feel this need to be ahead of them.

Yes I was being super sarcastic. Your point is completely valid.

As long as I can use my Xbox360 controller on the PC games I am very happy.

DGAF. When I finally bumped up to Level 16 the other day, I was super satisfied.
