The live action trailer did nothing for me but the screenshots and concept art looked pretty cool. Nice to see a new survival horror game joining the fold as a replacement for Dead Space jumping ship to action gaming.

So my interest in this has massively increased. One of the Giant Bomb guys saw it and said it's a mix of RE4, Texas Chainsaw, and Silent Hill. And it uses a 2.35:1 aspect ratio, which for some reason I find really neat.
Rev3 interview with Pete Hines:
One thing they do now, I noticed, is they have these platform wars, like "Xbox is better than Playstation." That's nerdy to me. What the fuck is the matter with you?

I preordered the season pass bundle for around $45 at GMG (they gave me a 30% voucher to use and could not resist). The game wasn't scheduled to unlock on Steam until 9pm Pacific but for some reason, my preload is unpacking now. I'll find out soon enough if it will let me play a few hours earlier than planned. I'll probably post most of my impressions in the snob thread.Usul, we have wormsign the likes of which even God has never seen.
