    Default Sony announces new PS3 model (a.k.a. the hideous monstruosity)

    The new model is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the current model, and will come in two flavours: 250GB and 500GB. It'll also be available in two colours, white and black.
    Guess there is no 16GB model.

    I don't think the design is that bad, ridges aside.

    But why is it so expensive? It doesn't make sense.

    The timing... weird.

    The 12gb model is exclusive to Europe... weird.

    As Ben pointed out, this is kind of a price increase... weird.

    I doubt that bundle is permanent. And sucks for people that already have U3 and/or don't care about Dust.
