Played through episode one of this over the weekend, I really enjoyed the game. I haven't played an adventure game in years, and I wasn't going to even bother playing this. I have to say though, cast your doubts aside and dowload the demo, because this game is really cool.

Kind of curious how this is going to work. Are they going to have 3 different canons for this format? TV is definitely does not follow the comic book, and the comic book is rightly what I'd call canon, so does the game intend to follow the comic, the tv show, or do it's own thing?

I DLed the game this weekend and finally got some time to play it last night. All I wanted to do was test it and next thing you know over an hour goes by! This game is awesome, I love the show and the comics and this definitely holds up very well. I urge everyone to who is a fan, to give it a go.

Very pleased and surprised with the quality of this game after the stumble that was Jurassic Park, but it looks like Telltale got the mix right with the QTE-ish action and the traditional adventure component. If they can maintain this quality over the remaining four episodes, I'm confident in saying that we finally have a new classic to add to the list of all time great adventure games. This is a phenomenal opening episode and stays true to the comic's tone and themes.

So if anyone hasn't bought the episodes digitally (Ben), the disc release is coming Dec 4th. Seriously, check out this game if you haven't. Pretty big contender for my GOTY.
