Dear Esther
I've read glowing and not so glowing reviews for it from both users and critics alike. Anyone here play it? It looks like a nice change of pace to me, and for a tenner am tempted to get it right now but want to wait for it to go on sale first.

I picked it up yesterday and beat it.
It's... Really hard to judge, it's not really a game in any sense (it could be if though if they had wanted it to be) it's more like a visual story book filled with random dialog/information and poetry to decipher relating to a obtuse story.
Visually the game is gorgeous and it's fun to explore and visually piece together the story. My only real complaint was the dialog which tried to hard to be "art". Well and it's a bit short for a 10$ game."Designing death and destruction for the masses since 1999."

Yeah, visuals look great and just from the trailer alone, dialog does sound like it will divide most people. But am digging it a lot, the delivery and tone of the dialog reminds me of an ultra weird, artsy fartsy film I love called Last Year at Marienbad. How long would you say it took to finish the game?

Thanks for the info. I'll probably wait for a sale.
