Is there anything special I need to do when I remove my 570 and put in my 670 tomorrow driver-wise?

Nope. It's basically plug in and play, just over install old driver with new one. I've been overinstalling with no problemo since 275 whql.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/drivers_faq.html
At the time I got the 670, recommended driver was 301.34 specifically for the 670 and 690 but recently, whql driver for all gpus and notebooks came out so use that one, obviously: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/44967Q: Do I need to uninstall my older driver first?
A: No. It used to be the case that an uninstall was first required. Today the recommended method is to overinstall the newer driver on top of your older driver. This will allow you to maintain any current NVIDIA Control Panel settings or profiles.
I like choosing the custom install method--I basically just have driver and Physx checked, I just have no need for all the other stuff, 3d vision in particular on my rig just ends up as bloatware and have it unchecked. YMMV.
Edit: I should add that, obviously, if switching cards from amd to nvidia and vice versa, then yeah, more steps than simply over installing might/will be needed.Last edited by Tnecniv; 05-25-2012 at 08:15 PM.

Thanks!
So I'm bummed but not too terribly - and this is maybe helpful news for twonun. Yesterday, I placed my 2 day shipping order and the kept holding the order, and holding, and holding.... And they were clearly in stock today with a "buy in 2 hours and select saturday shipping to get it tomorrow!!" So I cancelled my order and replaced the order for Saturday.
The bad news - it obviously didn't apply my $93 giftcard balance, so now the card is entirely out of pocket, and since the card is "shipping soon" - customer service says they can't do anything to the order. Next, right after that, Amazon got the EVGA GTX 670 FTW edition in stock for the first time in a week.
Oh well, the good news -- I'll have my 670 tomorrow! I'll also have a ~$100 credit with amazon, so maybe I'll buy two more monitors soon and see how well the 670 can run triple monitors.Currently Playing: Uncharted 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword

SSD installed and running. Good God this thing is fast. 10 second boot time(only because I have to put in my password ^_^). Had to put a 5 second boot drive pre-delay on my mobo, otherwise I'll never see the BIOS again.

Yep, this is why we love SSD's!!!
Word is, Windows 8 boots too fast. So fast you can't even spam delete to get to the BIOS!
