    Default Portal 2

Probably a thread somewhere, but... you know.

Anyway, user-made levels will be playable on all platforms.

Valve's Chet Faliszek has confirmed via NowGamer.com Portal 2 user created levels will be available "on all platforms." The tools to create these levels will only be available for the PC because they require the windows platform, "But the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms. Depending on the platform you’re on I should say, will depend on how we’re delivering it."

PS3 gamers will be able to access the user created content through the upcoming Steam works feature. We're not sure how content will be distributed for Xbox 360 gamers but sharing the creations of the community is important to Valve, "There’s just a lot of value in engaging the community because they’re smart, they’re thinking of really cool things and we want to be able to have everyone share that," said Faliszek. If gamers can share their Portal 2 levels who's to say they won't be able to share creations from other games on multiple platforms. Which games would you like to make or play user created levels for?

Portal 2 will be released on April 21 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac.

Wonder how that'll work for the 360.

One thing they do now, I noticed, is they have these platform wars, like "Xbox is better than Playstation." That's nerdy to me. What the fuck is the matter with you?

No clue. They might do the whole pick the best and release as a download on Live. Isn't that how UT handled it?
