A dude in his boxers fighting with a pillow as his weapon. That sort of shit is pure JPN gaming. I love it!

Looks like a PS2 game =/ So no party or fighting just trying to climb up the tower and avoid getting skewered. A puzzle game. I'll wait and see how the reviews are once it comes out and decide if I would want this ported or not... thought it was gonna be an RPG ala Persona and the like. Oh well... least the JP voice cast is awesome.

If you've got Japanese PSN or Xbox Live accounts set up, they're going to come in handy in the next couple of weeks, as demos for Catherine and ... Gal Gun will be available for download. January 27 will see the arrival of the Catherine demo on both PSN and XBLA, though it won't be available to Silver members until February 3.

I just played the demo and its weird lol.
The first level you were trying to get to a door at the very top and you have to jump and move boxes to reach the top.
After that theres some cutscenes and then your just at table texting and depending on how you text back makes you good or bad from the looks of it.
Then level 2 is more jumping and moving boxes but a hand is trying to stab you with a fork lol.
The demo is still on XBL japan but it has been pulled from PSN due to Atlus's bandwidth cost.

Well this sucks.
SOURCE
If you’re waiting for Atlus and Team Persona’s bizarre erotic horror-arcade puzzler Catherine to be localised, you may have to wait a little longer: Atlus’ US PR has told BeefJack, very apologetically, there are currently no plans for a North American release.
“Catherine is a Japan-only game and there are no plans for a NA release at this time. Sorry about that!” reads the statement.
Catherine has currently been doing very well for itself in Japan, comfortably beating Marvel vs Capcom 3 to the top of the all-formats chart, though it’s anyone’s guess how much of this was down to the scantily-clad ladies on the box.
I’m playing the import, and I can tell you it’s certainly a great game… though complaints from Japanese players about its difficulty are not exaggerating. Seriously, it makes Demon’s Souls look like a walk in the park. We’ll bring you a longer writeup on BeefJack just as soon as we can. -
