Ugh it's typical Anime styled. I was hoping it would look like Nocturne as I'm desperate to see a game styled like that in HD 3D.
But seeing how it looks I'll wait till it price drops. No way am I wasting my money paying full price for this. I would for the eye candy of a look like Nocturne in HD.
Before someone tells me how great Atlus's games are, especially the SMT one's are, I want to buy one of these games for both the eye candy and story in HD. I mean eye candy to the point of being faptabulous to my eyes and this doesn't have that.

From what my friend says, this isn't really an RPG per say, but more of a graphic novel game. So if you're hoping it's going to be an action RPG, or even Persona like, you might be dissapointed. If anything it's probably going to be like Sakura Wars. The 360 gets a lot of these over in Japan, so I'm surprised they're porting this one to the US and making it MP.

Are they made by Atlus? Atlus said when they finally go HD it'll be MP. To my knowledge they haven't developed a HD game yet.

Atlus makes their own games, and ports stuff from Japan...so I don't think it's an Atlus made game, just ported, but who knows. My friend could be full of shit.

I'm thinking Catherine is internally developed by Atlus. They do have a lot of Persona-related staff on it, and there doesn't seem to be any indications--yet--that this like Demon's Souls or 3D Dot Game Heroes where From Software, Silicon Studio or someone else actually created it.

They've published a lot of stuff this gen that they haven't developed though. All the Xbox 360 games so far released by Atlus weren't made by Atlus. This is their first internally developed 360 game as well as first internally developed PS3 game.
