LE announced:

The collector's edition for Assassin's Creed II, with its lovely tin and Ezio action figure, was quite a nice little package, but Ubisoft has outdone itself with the CE for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I need an Assassin's Creed jack-in-the-box like I've never needed anything else, and $100 seems a fair price to pay to secure one. I just need to figure out if I want the Harlequin, which is a GameStop exclusive, or the Doctor, which comes packaged in every other retailer's version.

In case the jack-in-the-box wasn't enough, the collector's edition also comes packaged with an art book, two exclusive in-game maps, a hard copy map of Rome, and a bonus disc containing a making-of video, a sneak-peek at the comic book, trailers, and the game's soundtrack.

Awesome!!! nit worth $100, but I hope that it will drop in price after a month or so. Wal-mart still has the Arkham Asylum LE sitting in the shelves.

I mean i'm a dirty dirty swag whore. But a jack in the box does nothing for me. certainly not anything worth 30 to 20 bucks.

You know.. I'm just not really all that excited about the new Assassin's Creed game. Anyone else not feeling the love for some random reason? Maybe because it's not a true sequel.

Back before I played 2 I was pretty much ignoring this as it is just a sidestory. But I enjoyed the gameplay of 2, and Ezio as a character, so much that I'm pretty excited now.

I just hope this isn't the start of the whoring of the franchise. So far the spinoffs were on portables and were pretty forgettable and I'm a little afraid this is the start of yearly AC.

Considering the normal edition on amazon is offering a 10 dollar credit it's hard to pass up. I'd just like a metal damn LE case.
