Hulu possibly coming to 360.
TV is what I watch most on Netflix so depending on price I may be down for this.
http://kotaku.com/5553039/hulu-coming-to-xbox-360According to "a very reliable source", gadget site Gear Live is reporting that Microsoft is set to unveil a nice little surprise during its E3 press conference: the addition of TV streaming service Hulu to Xbox Live.
Requiring a separate subscription fee - just like Netflix - Hulu would let Xbox 360 users watch (most of) their favourite TV shows whenever they wanted. Only, instead of watching it on a monitor, they could kick back and watch it on their actual TV sets.
It'll hardly end the console wars, but the combo of Netflix and Hulu might be more than enough to persuade a lot of people to buy the Xbox 360 just for its media capabilities, games be damned. -

I love Hulu and use my HTPC for now, but this may be a viable option for my bedroom depending on cost.

I dont think they have a fee now, I just got done watching the latest Fam Guy for free, I will look around the site and see if they are charging for premium services..
I know they cut down on how many episodes of a given show they have, like only the last 5 from the season and not the entire season like when they first started... Thats not for all shows but for a lot of the popular ones.

Ah, I thought I read they started having one but maybe it was that they were thinking about it.
Either way I wouldn't think this would be too much. -

I think it's 5-10 a month for their backlog, last 5 episodes aired are free.
Great quotes on the internet:
I hear Galaxy is brilliant, and it probably is. Just can't picture myself sitting down and playing it. That would take time away from watching the Disney Channel and working on my coloring book.Ryan Payton (MGS4 Associate Producer) -

THey make all of their money off of advertisements, I just took a questionaire for them a couple days ago and soo far from their site I have seen no mention of a paid service.. Although it may be different for 360 users, or perhaps they will unveil a paid service when Microsoft announces the deal...
Either way I cant see it costing much either, maybe a small monthly sub or a quarterly thing.. Anymore than that and they would be losing out on a rather large part of their userbase.

Pretty cool.
Too bad it will most likely be region-locked.
Well. As a cheapass, I stick to the PC version then.PSN/XBL: BLINX1234 -

Interesting. Suprised to see this since Hulu no longer works on the PS3's browser. Can't recall the details, did Sony block Hulu or did Hulu?
I'll definitely use it if it's for free. -

24 and Scrubs were shows I'd watch on Hulu, but they're both done this season

I would watch House, but oddly enough, it has this one week delay on Hulu. Don't know why because it bothers the shit out of me, because I always miss it.Don't Reach, Young Blood

If this comes to the Xbox, you better believe that Sony will work to get it on the PS3 too, just like Netflix. Microsoft thought that they had that one locked up.

Hulu is awesome, although TVersity has allowed any PS3/360 owner to watch it for the past 2 years.
Waiting for the day when sales or graphics or reviews matter again.
