Default TV on your Xbox? Not gonna lie, pretty cool....

Details are kind of thin and it's Australia only but one can only hope something like this would come stateside. The reason I'm liking the idea is just the whole "everything in a box" that my consoles want to push themselves as and this would be a biggie.

Sounds like SkyTV we already have on the 360 in the UK. I'm am surprised the Aussis are getting it before the Americans.

Does the US even have Sky? I know they're at least somewhat big in the UK.

the U.S. doesn't have sky or anything like that from what I know of and the americans never get good things like this. I think the best app/feature we've gotten for xbox 360 and xbl is Netflix and even then that is like eh okay whatever.

Hook up a tv tunner to your PC, then control it from the 360. It's very nice, I showed that to a friend of mine, and since then he bought a 360 and a TV tuner, and now his 360 is like a PVR.
Waiting for the day when sales or graphics or reviews matter again.

I know right, never mind that the Xbox 360 and Windows Vista could be used as a DVR suit for multiple rooms from day one.

The PS3 can even pick up your recorded TV, but it doesn't have all the functionality that the Xbox has. (Start in one room, finish in the next ect.)

Oh, and add a cable card tuner and you get all of your Digital cable in HD.
