Nope. Not possible. It's frustrating (always has been, you have never been able to rewind or FF replays in GT).
Biggest issue for me is trying to get a good shot in replay photomode. If you dont freeze the replay at the exact right moment you have to go back and go through the whole replay again
Although one really cool feature about the replay photomode (for me at least) this time is the ability to freely walk around once you freeze the replay. You could freeze the replay at the start line of the Nurburgring for example and then just go for a walk around the entire track
(I'm very curious how long that would take).
Really lets you go off and see some of the cool details PD model around the tracks.PSN : DaveS1138

No, I just think that for whatever reasons of thought process - you have difficulty keeping events separate, or at least you portray such.
We were discussing the fact that you often make an attempt to use some event to upstage or distract from kinect. My response was that I don't really understand how you think that's possible given there are 7000+ posts sitting there.
You come back with "LOL more posts here!!!" -- which, of course, has nothing to do with anything. The topic was you, sweeping, rugs, and kinect. I have yet to be accused of trying to "sweep gt5" under the rug. In fact, in light of the things I've been saying for some time now, that would be ridiculous to assert.
You seem to post under a mentality of tit for tat, but your "tat" is often either false or devoid of sense. I mean, just today, you've decided that "tat" should be "butt hurt" "tears" and "LOL post counts" - all in response to largely the same thing.
You simply appear lost.Currently Playing: Uncharted 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword

Awesome: when you go off the track into the gravel your tires get coated with a layer of it which wears off shortly after you get back on track.
Not so awesome: why aren't my brake discs glowing when I brake hard? Earlier gt games did it on the ps2 just fine. -

Proves you're not reading. I just explained this. If the topic is you, sweeping kinect under the rug, and the logic of trying to do so in the face of a memorable 7,000 page thread -- this thread has no relevance. This thread could have 2 posts, or 100,000.
Relevance. It's best friends with context. Absence of either in your post is a recipe for failure; yours is hurting for both.Currently Playing: Uncharted 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword

So GT5 is a good game?
The liveries, I don't care about. The performance rating, I actually really liked. I just thought about it and GT5 is missing it and it would be nice to be able to see that.
For some reason, CD needs people to be raging about GT instead of enjoying it, inspite of it's critical underperformance (relatively speaking, of course) because of Kinect being in the same position. Noone (reasonable) is saying folks shouldn't enjoy their product. What's being called out (and what CD has consistently missed) is where it didn't deliver. It's not like GT5 completely and miserably failed in every category. It fell short, but still gets the job done, the job it was designed to do. It's still a fun game, though admittingly flawed in several ways.+32in Sanyo Vizon

I must say this is unexpected for me. I'll be frank GT5 feels like GT4 HD with damage, weather, and online, and with wheel and brake options missing. With that said, I LOVED GT4 so I really am liking GT5 so far.....but the visuals are a bit underwhelming for a game that's been 5 years in the making for the PS3.
Sure there are really pretty graphics and lighting that shines on the premium cars but there are some undeniably awful PS2 textures -- not just on the cars either, but on entire tracks. The ones on the tracks are the most offensive. Trial Mountain looks just like a copy/paste from the PS2 and I'm sure it really is. So all in all, I'm enjoying GT5 though I'm disappointed in the omissions and I just don't see where the 5 years of development went.Last edited by Televator; 11-27-2010 at 08:13 PM.

Damage does seem to be a very good indicator of how far reviewers actually bothered to play. Some reviews have mentioned that damage is almost none existant and that does show that they didn't bother getting past level 20.
By comparison I'm at level 16 after 3 nights play. Clearly there is a need for reviewers to get their reviews out quickly and GT5's delay made getting review copies into the hands of the reviewers more difficult.
But I think we should expect reviewers to put more than 3-4 nights worth of play into a game of the size and complexity of GT5 before they write it up.
I would say it was more of an issue for online play though. The servers only went up the day before it's release (and were being slammed as soon as they went up). Clearly not the best way to review the online component.PSN : DaveS1138
