    but I am digging the detail that's being included in GT5's like the door jam's and all.     Timed penalties are crap unless you are time trialing a track out. Only those going for the absolute fastest time possible, usually alone, should get a hit on time (and/or speed) if 'cheating' like cutting corners, going through grass/dirt, bump drafting with a friend, etc.

    The demo was great. The visuals were brilliant over Forza 2's.

    The game certainly needs skill. There is great realism in there.

    For some peculiar reason though it sometimes felt slightly arcady.


    Things I like over GT5 is that the AI gives more attention to your car's position and actions, and if a car slightly nudges the other car it can make it loose control.

    Things I didnt like is that they have overdone the braking physics when your speed is over a certain limit, which I believe is a cheap way that many PC racing games are dong to make the handling seem artificially more realistic

    Also funny is that Forza 2 came out in May of 07 and Gran Turismo 4 came out in late 04/Early 05, so he was pretty off on his dates, even on his own game

    so far i have the fasted hot lap time on my friends list of who has the demo. using the B class, i have a 01:19.404. and i suck at this so far... i know i'll be passed up.

    mid... I'm adding you. competition is fucking on dude... and it's controller vs controller since wheel is dead (another crap MS quality product)
    watch out though, I've noticed some of my fast lap times are better with the controller
    maybe I just suck with the wheel... probably why I never got into top 3 in GTR2 online
