It seems everyone wants this thread closed, so then close it. I don't give a shit. You can create a specific "nonsmackdown" thread on each game in game room if you want, don't care either.. probably would be better to just close down smackdown as a whole.

Dave and I are the only ones who still bring things up related to either/both games. Evo has joined these convos. Ergo to a degree as well. You on the otherhand, along with your cheerleaders, have not.. I have already posted some consistent dozen or so of your posts showing that none were related to the topic at hand, all were directly at me, trolling away like supermods are supposed to do, with grand assumptions and accusations of extreme bias, double standards, fabricated arguments, and more, ironically NOT doing the same for the other camp..

The new 2013 viper srt was leaked (again, 1st time was with hotwheels) in forza 4 screens. What's odd is that t10 have not announced more dlc outside of the current april (released today) and Porsche (may) so this might be a specific one like we saw with the free bmw f10 m5 and free Hyundai veloster which both actually have autovista fluff. One leaked screen seems to be of av fluff

Exactly the point......you jumped into the thread and made an incredibly stupid claim about being abe to drive through sandtraps in GT5 without loosing any speed........and when called on just how stupid a caim that was you didn't admit you were wrong.....or that you were playing the game at a begginer leve with assists turned on......just just dropped it and let your claim stand......no retraction.....no admission that you were wrong.....just just "dropped it".

Hell......even now you are still trying to suggest that maybe their really was a problem with GT5's physics that nobody else ever noticed but you and they "patched it out"......that's why you cant do it now....

The ony possible explinations are that you either made that up just knock GT5 for something that doesn't happen......or else you were driving on beginner kid friendly settings which are obviously toned down to allow people to get away with silly mistakes........if your going to criticise GT5 physics for that then God ony knows what you woud think about being able to rewind time in Forza physics

So here is the perfect opportunity for you to admit that you were either making the whole thing up or else driving at kiddy level.......which ever it was it's time for you to retract your claim that you can drive through sandtraps without loosing any speed in GT5 instead of simply trying to "drop it" or claim it was "patched out".

Care to show me different classes of cars in f4 hitting the same lat gs just because they are on the same tire?

you have never answered the question of which car on which track...... since you yoursef made a track in GT5 that allowed a racing Kart to get the same lap time as a Lotus I'm sure you can understand why that is an important question.

That may be how the game was set up when they filmed the video......it does not show that that is how they played the game.

I'm simply reporting what Scaff and ISR have said about Forza 4 physics after they have both payed it extensively.......no assumptions here other than the assumption that somebody who claims to have played the game has infact played it. But since they are both experts introduced to the thread by you I'm guessing your OK with that assumption.

And FYI, if you or me or anyone, including the now credible pro ISR team which don't even call themselves pros (lol), label FM4 as being a bit on the arcade side, you do the same for GT5. Core sim folk on PC don't call FM and GT games as sims, but I certainly do. The way I define a sim is if it resembles real life driving/racing and if at the end of the day if they feel real. To me both do... to me FM4 just does a better job at this.

GT Accademy winner Lucas Ordonez has announced that he will be racing in this years 24 hour Nurburgring endurance race as part of the same team with Gran Turismo creator and head of PD Kazanuri Yamauchi.

So long as they know the race lasts longer than 1 hour, it might rain, the track is the right length and not 2 1/2 mies too long and at some point it's going to get pretty dark I think they'll be ok

I'm only giving you advice since you don't see what's wrong in having 800+ posts, and still counting, in a smackdown game vs game thread where you don't play either nor plan to.. and the bulk of your posts are directly towards me, even bringing up fallacies, ragequits, and even still mentioning an e-stalking member that's been banned over 2 months ago.

And I do remain consistent. Maybe you only noted it now or assumed I've got flip flops on when posting in here but a loooooooooooong time ago I more than stated on many occasions that I had some bias, as in SOME (not complete), bias towards the Forza franchise because to me it's a more fun game and overall better game, more complete package and the devs have been cranking them out fairly quickly (although I wouldn't have minded if they waited 1 more year to work on extra stuff, this whole 5+ year wait for a full fledged GT game is ridiculous when you're porting over 80% of cars and roughly 1/2 the tracks from last gen). It has more of what I loved in previous GT games, as in from GT1 and on, although it continues to be lacking on some features other titles have. It doesn't mean I blindly defend Forza. I more than enough flacked the franchise, the devs and the platform on numerous occasions, but folks selectively read what they want and make grand assumptions on the norm here.

You haven't provided any evidence of anyone claiming FM4 has 'floaty physics'. You're making assumptions over a line that what was dubbed for previous Forza games (which was overblown to be honest, but still a bit of floatiness was there) is there in FM4, which is not. You've even taken a simple laugh from one of the ISR guys as implying there's floatiness to FM4's physics. And it's as easy as actually playing the game with pad or with wheel to see that's not there.
Hell last night I was racing in one of the new DLC cars around Nurburgring GP and there's some sections that the car gets bumpy, you slightly lose a bit of traction for a split second even. I've even mentioned my findings with Laguna Seca and the dip that throws a 'heavy' car off balance and you see it visually as well as feel with the car. If there was floatiness, the car would 'glide' over all of this.

To continue being back on topic... here's ANOTHER gripe of mine in FM4. One of the DLC cars is the Volvo 850R wagon and when I first saw the pics of it I noticed it had the black euro trim. I was hoping this was paintable to fully recreate the BTCC race car. Sadly...

There is a 'Volvo street bumper' that eliminates the black trim but that's only for the front bumper.

ANOTHER gripe of mine, cuz I never say anything negative over Forza 4 apparently (lulz)...
I built up another April DLC car, the 1995 BMW M5, fully with Reiger bumpers, sideskirts and trunk spoiler and slapped some 19" gunmetal painted BBS RX wheels:

Still need to tune it because it got taken easily in the events list for luxury sedan race around Camino Viejo... the gripe? I painted this car and the sideskirts white... the car I originally bought in game in a stock BMW blue color. When I put the Reiger kit on, the side skirts remained a silver color. I had to go and paint the whole car white (color I planned to paint it anyways) and then slap a rectangular white stickaaaar across the sideskirt on both sides to have them white. I've come across this issue once before, but forget which car and which kit where a piece of a bumper or sideskirt remained a certain color requiring you to put a stickaaaaar over it.
One thing I'd love to do in the next Forza is be able to 'french' the lights. Would love to have been able to put yellow tint around the inside lights and fogs, kind of like this:

Yes it's fluff, but I'd like it. Would make some more pics stand out even cooler in my book.
