If you're getting the Temporary Server Issue error, try changing your country, aka the server it goes through.

Anyway, they are apparently testing version 2.0 of the widget which apparently solves a lot of the problems and adds a ton of nice features, like ALWAYS, RANDOMLY, and NEVER use friends drivers.

damn it... i forgot to setup bspec grinder last night...

if true jake, i'd like that option. select always for people who hook me up more and randomly for those who don't as much. maybe just select always for guys i know for sure will benefit it more or actually play the game. I had 1 person that I removed that I never saw playing GT5. Might as well fill in his drivers' spots with someone who needs the money/xp more

Yeah I really like the idea of being able to set up so that the people that race your drivers the most get your racing the most too

In other news the seasonal events have been updated again I can't see what's added yet though.

Oh... and this might stall some of my planned purchases..

happened today.. Some assclown thought a 1 lane road was 2 lane, forcing me onto a trailer which clipped me

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. Damage looks minimal though (in audi speak, that means 5-6 grand and a couple weeks )

Yeah its not so bad. Need a new fender and wheel needs refinishing. I think my health suffered more due to rising blood pressure from screaming at the assclown that cut me off causing the accident. 1 lane road he made into 2. Ughhh.

Buddy who owns body shop will look at it on saturday. Hardest part is figuring out if I should go thru insurance or not.

I take it that fender was rubbing against the tire, hence the flatbed?
Wasn't the other driver found at fault so it's his insurance that has to pay?

Best of luck to you. I usually find out that wheel refinishing costs almost as much as a new wheel, so you might want to go that route.

State trooper refused to let me drive off. Fender was barely touching the tire. I'm lowered (and can go a lot more if I wanted but not on shitty jersey roads) so the trooper said it was a safety concern. Said it'd be his ass if I got a blowout and crashed because of it. I was only going to drive no more than 4 minutes, really slow, in street traffic. The exit was not even 15 seconds walking distance but because it was on the highway, and cuz of what trooper said, I needed a tow. $275 for 5min tow ride... that burns. All cuz of some dumb piece of shit wanted to cut me off and the trailer that hit me.

These being my stock wheels, I have 5 of them. 1 is a spare so if anything I'll get my buddy to refinish it for cheap and use it as a spare, taking the mint spare one out and swapping tires. I'm due for new tires anyways. My primary wheels are Audi OEM BBS 'CH' wheels. These were the winter ones. Just blows cuz it could have all be avoided had an assclown not been an assclown deciding to make his own lane cutting me off. I really hope the trooper wrote out the report right and got the guy's plate so I can file under insurance and get his ass to pay for everything. Thing is... in jersey... highly unlikely

Is new jersey a no fault state?

Sorry to see that...that really sucks

New Jersey has the second worse drivers in the US in my opinion. (It's only the Massachusetts drivers being even dumber pieces of $%^!!! that stop sthem being number 1.) I have driven there a lot so I know from sorry experience.

I hope it all works out for you

When I'm in Jersey or NYC, I don't signal when I change lanes since that only causes people to speed up and not let me through

I'll keep an eye out for it.

    Also

B-Spec Grinder Version 2.0 is out!

    http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=185890

    Current version: 2.0
You can now manage how drivers are selected for races in fine detail by right-clicking the Widget and selecting "Manage Drivers..."
Use your drivers completely randomly, or specify exactly which order you want them to be used in.
Group friends into categories: Always Use, Sometimes Use, or Never Use!
Select how many drivers you want to leave free separately between your Always Use friends and your Sometimes Use friends.
Friends used sometimes can be selected randomly, or be given preferential treatment depending upon whether they've raced your drivers recently.
Fetches your friend list hourly, instead of only once when you load the Widget.
New advanced preferences are available for the small number of users who were having problems using 1.1.3. Try reducing the number of Concurrent Threads and/or increasing the Driver Reservation Delay to improve stability.
Concurrent Threads: Dictates how many web requests will run simultaneously. More threads mean faster performance.
Driver Reservation Delay: Specifies how long the Widget should wait before it tries to reserve drivers.
Added a preference in the Advanced section to write logs to disk. Right-click the Widget to access the logs.
Added a test to check for accounts that are having problems that would necessitate these settings.
Adds a hidden setting which lets you pick which race ID you want to use.
Put preferences.preferredRace.value = id; in the debug window, where id is the ID of the race you want to run.
La Sarthe, which is regarded as the most profitable race, has an ID of 5569.
Race IDs can be found in the source of the Remote Race page where you're selecting an event.
To clear the setting, use preferences.preferredRace.value = 0; in the debug window.
A later version may add this as a UI setting.
    Fixed the following errors:
Display problem related to user's level and experience.
Display problem when user reaches B-Spec Level 40.
Display problem when the Widget stops displaying race information prematurely.
    Display problem when changing accounts.
Rare problem where the Widget would think it got stuck when it was presenting its preferences or an alert.
Failure to reserve all available drivers from friends.
Security sandbox problem related to $redirect_url.replace('signout/','').
