Source? Since no place has even hinted at sales.
I believe I read it on Gamespot in the news section. I would post the link but can't access the site at work. The exact ratio might be a bit different and why I said "I think" but the 360 version was pulling in greater numbers according to that article.

They must of kicked in some overtime to get it done cause I doubt they wanted to release the PS3 version the week after MW2. People might push that purchase off till Christmas.

So does anybody really feel that the 360 version of DA: Origins will look and play better than the PS3 version? At least that seems to be the consensus around these wacky internets.

I was gonna get the 360 version because I didn't want to wait two weeks, but now that they're coming out on the same day, I don't know. This is definitely not the game I would want to be in the middle of and then get RROD. But if it plays better on the 360 I'd rather get it for that then.

With the Steam pre-download for the game being 20+ gig, makes me wonder how many discs the 360 version will ship on.

Hmmm, interesting. Maybe best to wait for reviews. Hopefully there will be some early ones. Tomorrow or Monday maybe?

Thats just cause the PC version has HQ Textures... not just the 720p that consoles normally have. Consoles normally only have 1 set of textures and then upconvert or downconvert to the appropriate resolutions.

This should be 1 to 2 disc max for the 360.

And why isnt the title of this thread updated? The official launch date for all 3 platforms is now the same.

I'll wait for the game and the various expansions to all be bundled together before I buy this for the PC. The release of this game along with $ DLC just turns me off to buying it.

Well on another board, it was discussed that the 20gb was just the pre-load on steam, with another 40gb total for download on top (20ish for installation).

It was just enough to make one wonder, nothing more hehe.

I'm pretty sure the 360 version is 1 disc.

My bet is that it's a listing error. Although it would be cool if I got a code for the 360

NWN had an option to install 3 different texture qualities or you can install all of them. You also have to incorporate multiple resolution sizes such as 2560x1600.

Bioware did confirm that it doesn't matter what format of DA you get, it'll get you the armor for Mass Effect, in the same webcast thingie that they undelayed the PS3 version of the game.

I read an interview somewhere and I will try to find a quote that said that the codes would be interchangeable, so if you bought DA on PS3 you could use the code to get the ME2 armor on PC or 360. Not sure if I will be able to find it again though, but did anyone else hear that?

Update: Nevermind, Coren has me covered.
