G Phoria 2009 results are in.

Fallout 3 really is one of the greatest games ever made, so good to see it rack up so many awards. I couldn't put it down, probably put about 80 hrs or so into it and didn't blink an eye. One of these days I'll pick up all the downloadable content and start playing again. Fallout 3 is like some kind of drug or something.

That's one thing about Bethesda that impresses me. They don't crank out games yearly like other companies, but when they do produce a game, it's usually epic (at least the last few have been).

Well said. It's the only game that had noticeable glitches on my system so far (like locking up on occasion etc) - and I still loved it.

I powered through that game in about a month

It's better in that you get all the expansions which are timed exclusives.

Speaking of which, arent the dlc episodes coming to PS3 really soon, followed by the GOTY edition which would be a better buy for everyone?

Not sure when DLC is happening, but I have heard a GOTY edition is coming to both consoles.

I think Bethesda is very impressive also. Elder Scrolls Oblivion is probably my favorite title of theirs. Even though Fallout 3 is a more polished game, I like Oblivion the most due to the setting in which the game is placed.

I did the exact same thing. I played Fallout for at least a month... and I didn't even touch another game.

This is Smackdown, where are all the fanboy comments at???

I have been reading a lot of fanboy comments speculating about things that may or may not even be true, but something like this where the 360 won out by a landslide in fav console (voted by gamers) and we dont get any mud slinging WTF

???

360 owns the PS3, I think everyone here already knows that so nobody said anything.

I think KZ2 would easily get best shooter if it had a splitscreen/co-op mode.
KZ3 maybe?

A few more changes since this is the smackdown

Best online Multi Player: Left for Dead (PC)

Best Strategy Game(cause we had to pick one): Halo Wars (360)
