Metal Gear franchise announcements incoming.
That's right the year is up and they have new annoucements.
http://kotaku.com/5291427/konami-ann...-announcementsAs of June 12th, this past Friday, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a year old. We say "Happy birthday, Old Snake." Konami says, "We're gonna make some Metal Gear announcements!"
Yes, the Metal Gear publisher is once again prefacing actual video game announcements with a warning that it plans to make said announcements, a move that has become a Konami trademark. Konami notes today that it will release "exciting" Metal Gear announcements all week long aimed at fans of the tactical espionage action franchise.
Don't expect all-new game announcements, considering that both Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker recently had their existence confirmed. Instead, anticipate "game updates and other highly anticipated announcements" from Konami.
We doubt that Konami will embroil us in another Kojima Productions NEXT-style roller coaster ride of speculation and mental manipulation, but expect something of substance this week.Last edited by Wulf; 06-15-2009 at 11:36 PM.

Xbox 360 MGS4 Here we come...
Personally... It doesn't bother me if MGS4 stays exclusive to the PS3. I actually kind of like the idea, as I've owned the game since it's release last year, and seeing as how I have so few ps3 games as is, having a few more exclusives for the system makes my purchase more worthwhile. (Not that my ps3 hasn't gotten enough use from my movie collection) But I will admit I am curious... Curious to finally see (if it is released) how MGS4 does run on the 360. More then that, I'm curious to see what the package includes. Previous 2nd choice offerings (Substance, Subsistance) still carry decent prices on the sendary market, and came with a boatload of additional content. The Metal Gear Franchise is one of only 2 franchises that I'd consider rebuying the same game for when small bonus material comes with it. (The other being Mario Games)
Won't it be a real kick in the pants if MGS4 for the 360 runs just as well as the ps3 version, looks as good or better, AND comes with extra content? Either way if one of these announcements turns out to be MGS4 for the 360 count me in at some point... just probably not day 1.

Yes, it's news... GAME ROOM NEWS. Just like I said.
You didn't say anything. You posted a link about Konami announcing they will announce something next week. This could be for 360 and it could be something else. Did I said it was 360, no so shut it.
Not smackdown, just vague bullshitology.
You also wrote,
trying to imply something about MGS4-360. So, actually, you shut it.the year is upReceiver: Denon 3808CI / Remote: Logitech Harmony 1

It's news Red get over yourself or go to bed. Fans on any side like to talk about this kind of news. Now if you don't like it; don't post, easy as pie solution.

If you honestly didn't think "The year is up and the beans are about to be spilled" didn't infer a possible 360 version, then you really should have thought about that a bit harder!!!!!!!!!
