not sure why you're feeling persecuted over kinect to make note of it.
recalling the kinect hype is not isolated to just two people, nor sony move for that matter (ask WI....wait.....please don't).
you misspelled "observations", by the way.
lets not ignore the change in how kinect was embraced again.
at least i played it, right? *invokes cuco33 rule* -

Haven’t tried the demo yet.. I think the last Mech game I played was that Activision PC game for Windows 95, so I would probably pass anyway.
Looking forward to Crimson Dragon and I read some encouraging previews for the Fable Journey game.DarkRedRain (XBL, PSN, WiiU)

Imagine the Possibilities... if this thing HAD been a proper Steel Battalion game and not some lame Kinect cash-in that unsurprisingly DOES NOT WORK.
Also, it's nice to be vindicated about this stupid game. It's ass, and it should never have existed.Great quotes on the internet:
I hear Galaxy is brilliant, and it probably is. Just can't picture myself sitting down and playing it. That would take time away from watching the Disney Channel and working on my coloring book.Ryan Payton (MGS4 Associate Producer) -

First game uses gimmicky controller, fails. Second game uses gimmicky Kinect controls, fails. Seems like it's the ones making the game are ruining it. They can't decide how to and what to use, to play their game.

I knew this was going to be the case, but it still makes me weep. The original Steel Battalion was by no means a perfect game, but it at least embraced its sim roots with a tenacity that was almost unheard of on that generation on consoles.
From the get go, this game looked to be a buggy experience, and the end product actually looks to be worse than my diminished expectations. It's time for developers to realize that they're not going to win over the core gamers with Kinect... at least using the current technology. You can slap on features, but for most people, if it's easier to do with a controller, it's not worth using a Kinect. Some people have brought up Child of Eden, and that game was fine...but played better with a controller IMO. Squad commands in ME3 were, and when the voice recognition worked, it was fine...but the actions could be performed with better accuracy using a controller. -

A well known site's review includes the paragraph:
I LOLed.Woefully, Heavy Armor is, in practice, a nightmare in nearly all aspects. As we’ve unfortunately come to expect from most Kinect titles, the motion controls are terrible. If we so much as flinched on our couch, the game asked us to re-calibrate the Kinect sensor, and in the heat of battle we had constant issues both at home and in the office with accidentally closing the viewport hatch when we were trying to simply look out the view panel.Receiver: Denon 3808CI / Remote: Logitech Harmony 1
