I sure dont see where we thought that durring the first launch titles would be killer aps for the kinect. I remember talking about what it could do down the road. Like I said I have time. I can wait. PS3 owners should be used to waiting(GT5).

Whats funny is just watching you argue just to argue.

This is very funny. Like a funny version of I quit. My nephew tried this type of argument when he lost on GT with his brother, stating very matter-of-fact that it was actually the person that came in second that was the winner. Enjoy that!

That's not a comparison that you want to bring to the table. RFOM/HS/Motorstorm were pretty good (I liked them lots, but not everyone did) but never the less, they did showcase what the system would do and be good at. Everything that has followed has been an evolution of these games. Kinect on the other hand has all been about imagination!Anything important come out with the PS3 launch?
I kind of remember it being a ghost town for titles on the PS3 durring the first year.
Just for those keeping track, here are the launch titles of Kinect, with Hardcore titles in bold.
Here are the PS3 Launch Titles.* Kinect Adventures (Microsoft Game Studios)
* Kinectimals (Frontier Studio/Microsoft Game Studios)
* Kinect Joy Ride (Big Park/Microsoft Game Studios)
* Kinect Sports (Rare/Microsoft Game Studios)
* Dance Central (MTV Games)
* Your Shape: Fitness Evolved (Ubisoft)
* EA Sports Active 2 (EA)
* Deca Sports Freedom (Hudson)
* Dance Masters (Konami)
* Adrenalin Misfits (Konami)
* Zumba Fitness (Majesco)
* Sonic Free Riders (Sega)
* The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout (THQ)
* Motion Sports (Ubisoft)
* Game Party: In Motion (Warner Bros.)
I'd have to say that it's a pretty good double standard when Xbox supporters/sony haters said for a long time (and apparently still cling to this) that the PS3 had no games, and it took forever for it to have any games etc, and then you compare what's out there for Kinect, and what is coming in the future. There really is nothing to look forward to!Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII Ubisoft Romania Ubisoft
Call of Duty 3 Treyarch Activision
Def Jam: Icon EA Chicago Electronic Arts
Enchanted Arms From Software Ubisoft
FIFA 07 EA Canada EA Sports
Fight Night Round 3 EA Chicago Electronic Arts
Formula One Championship Edition SCE Studio Liverpool SCEE
Full Auto 2: Battlelines Pseudo Interactive Sega
Genji: Days of the Blade Game Republic SCEE

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Raven Software Activision
Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire Namco Bandai Games Atari
MotorStorm Evolution Studios SCEE

NBA Street: Homecourt EA Canada Electronic Arts
Resistance: Fall of Man Insomniac Games SCEE

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 EA Sports Electronic Arts
Tony Hawk’s Project 8 Neversoft Activision
Virtua Fighter 5 Sega-AM2 Sega
Virtua Tennis 3 Sega-AM3 Sega

So, do you have it both ways, or are you really claiming that Kinectimals/Kinect sports, Joyride, Dance Central and the Kinect Sonic Game really are better than Resistance Fall Of Man, Motorstorm, etc?
Note: I'm not saying that the PS3 had a good launch, it was weak, but there were still games, and playable ones that are still fun. My main point is just that Kinect really has a weak launch with not one game really worth playing, if we were to use the same standards applied to the PS3 launch. The very standards that this board has held for a long time, but standards that disappeared very recently with the advent of Kinect. Convenient, no? -

What do you mean, "important"? Anyway, the PS3 launch lineup was quite bad... but the TYPES of games that came out were quite indicative of what would come in the future. It's not like PS3's launch games were casual shit. They were normal hardcore games by and large -- just not very good ones.
Oh, and Resistance was available at PS3 launch and was a good game, with high review scores and good sales, that looks to be quite a bit better than any Kinect title, if you really want to make comparisons between console launches and peripheral launches. And before you yell at me for being unfair -- you're the one who made the comparison first.
Therefore, your analogy fails and backfires. No one's saying Kinect games will always be as meh as these launch games; presumably on the axis of casual shit they can and will get better. What we ARE saying (and are right in saying) is that until there is some proof that at least a couple of actual good hardcore games come out for Kinect, it is total speculation/wishful thinking to say that Kinect is "for all gamers." that pointing to other console launches is a diversion? sure.
where was the lowered expectations before kinect's launch?
where were the "just have fun with it" and "we don't care about review scores" comments before kinect's launch?
where was the mistating of people's opinions in order to make them seem negati...nevermind, this one wasn't retorical. -

You guys can laugh all you want. I will enjoy my kinect and look forward to the hard core stuff comming down the road. Until then you can bash kinect all you want, but when some really kick ass stuff comes out I expect you guys to own up to it. I know they will come. You guys apparently dont feel they will ever come.

Maybe you forget that Kinect just launched 2 weeks ago. Expectations were lowered WAY before then.
Or maybe you forgot? You can't possibly tell me the constant "lowered expectations" talk from you and your cronies doesn't count...it all happened before launch and for the past 6 months at least. In fact, if anything, I saw people like yourself, who after launch actually said it was better than expected. So explain this please.Spoiler: -
