Wasn't the 360 released around the time Apple announced they were dropping IBM Power PC architecture and moving to Intel?
Wouldn't that have helped IBM with producing CPU's for the 360?
I know bugger all on the similarities between the G5 processor and the 360's but as IBM were losing Apple, could that have given Microsoft more bargaining power when pricing the 360 CPU?PlayStation 3: 200GB HDD (NON-BC PAL)

There's nothing wrong with OSX. That's why my PC runs it too alongside Vista Business x64

OS X is the best OS I've ever used or wrote code on. And I've done both in a lot of OS.
Receiver: Denon 3808CI / Remote: Logitech Harmony 1
Speakers: Monitor Audio RS6 front, RSLCR center, R90 back, Elemental Design sub
Consoles: Wii, GC+GBAP (digital), Xbox 360 S (250GB), PS3 (+320GB), GBA SP, PSP Slim
Set top boxes: Apple TV 160GB, Dish ViP722 HD DVR
TV: Sony XBR2 46" 1080p LCD
PS2 > 360 > PS3 > GameCube > Xbox > Wii (games)
PS3 > 360 > Wii (overall)
Blu-Ray > HD DVD -

I'm not a fan of Apple, personally. Namely because what I got on this laptop for $500 would have cost me an extra few limbs to get an equal machine from Apple.

I have Ubuntu 9.4 as host os.
Virtualbox. free
XP. free old copy from an old lappy.
Vista. deleted it free old copy from an old lappy.
Windows 7. deleted it. free evaluation version.......still crap.
The windows junk I keep running via Compiz Cube and Virtualbox so that in a tenth of a second I can flip from Ubuntu to xp.
These days I only fireup the windows junk for excel or when I want to show a windows os running on Ubuntu with none of the dual boot crap.
But Apple rocks, Apple is good but over priced. To stir mens blood dreams must be vast or else they have no power. -

Exceptionally overpriced... I bought this machine new in 2008 in August for $500 on sale (original price, $700). The cheapest macbook started at like what, $1200? I'm not 100% on pricing, but just what I had to choose from at Best Buy. And I made such an amazingly correct choice, too.
I dislike Vista as much as the next guy, but frankly, I'm still very happy with this laptop.
