Fallout 3 on the 360 gets patched to look ALMOST as pretty as PS3 version? HUUUH?

Fallout 3 has trophies.

It is mandatory that all PS3 games effective January 1st 2009 have trophies. Exception being Afro Samurai which was approved before that date.

It puts hair on your chest! I'll never be a fanbot like (a number of posters on this site that I can't call out, and some that have been banned... multiple times) but I do have legitimate complaints sometimes, and it has been interesting to keep them to myself. I did let slip a couple times, and felt I didn't keep my end of the bet, so I've extended the date to compensate. I trust that my posting style won't actually change too much in the future, but It's always nice to have the option of being an asshole!

As snad said, this is no longer an issue on new games. It's also been apparent (and please don't mistake this for an excuse) - that you and I buy different types of games. I think the last game I bought that doesn't have trophies is GT5p, whereas I know you'd been having a rough time with it as late as the recent holidays.

Just interesting on how different the perspectives of the world of gaming can be, simply based upon slightly different preferences.

Well, I think it's because I usually get JRPG's, not the most popular games out there, so it's a shame when they don't have achievements (like VC, Disgaea 3, etc.).

Yeah most certainly, and I can easily see how that'd be frustrating -- especially because of the amount of effort those games require

Personally, forgetting about trophies/achievements for 90% of games made my gaming experience overall a hell of a lot more fun.

Pssh....if you spend 70 hours getting all A rankings on VC, you should have some way of proving that it was done.

Trust me, you've earned at least a trophy.

What's sad is they can keep putting out paid DLC for Disgaea 3 but not patch free trophies.

Same for MGS4/MGO. We got the MEME expansion and now they got some other expansion but no trophies.

No shit, $2 for a damn character addon...they've had like about 10 of them now. That's even more obscene than the Darth Vadar/Yoda BS with Soul Caliber IV.

I don't understand the trophy or achievement craze. Do you actually strive to obtain these trophies or play the game the way you want to play?

Me I just play the game and if I get a trophy or achievement then what ever, I'm no more excited or less excited because of them.

Personally I hate the addition of trophies on Fallout, because I have to wait for them to load at the beginning. It's annoying, yeah it's like 30 seconds or less, but still
