Retail PS3 HDD decrypted, UH OH!!!

Oh man this could be bad for Sony. Piracy is a huge problem for the PSP and I'd hate to see the PS3 get stuck in the same rut.PSN and Live Gamertag: kyzer1978 -

A little too early to get worried.
There is not knowing how much this will be taken advantage off or even if it is enough to do piracy at all.Sony BDP-S370Blu-Ray's Owned: 127Last blu-Ray Brought: Back to the Future Trilogy, The Departed, Sorcerers Apprentice, Kick Ass. -

Hmm I'm not sure how this will affect the PS3. How is piracy on the PS3 already and 360. I have seen a few youtube videos people showing off their mod. I'm not sure any of it is simple.

Well if that happens I'm gonna get pissed! I hate hackers!
I hated them for what they did to the PSP, sure some still bought their games, but I know most didn't! I refuse to believe that more people bought games than downloaded them.
Anyway, I really hope people don't start this piracy crap on the PS3PS3 - 80 gig w/BC

Well it's been over two years now, and by the time anything becomes, most of the PS3's main life span will have gone by so I don't foresee any major problems for now

Bingo!! That's the correct statement. Sony will be wise to the situation and a FW update will resolve the issue. Now the next part would be to "just not update" except when you go to play "Y" Game or "Z" BD (I was nice and left the "X" out) and they say in order to play those you MUST update. Ahh decisions decisions.
