Makes you wonder who is more stupid, MS for their cost-cutting decisions that lead to the RROD in the first place or people who actually keep rebuying 360's after a RROD failure and then come to forums to moan on how bad it is. Here's a tip, dont buy a 360, no more RROD, problem solved!

This is something that I have mentioned before, but I really wonder how much of the 360 install base number is comprised of 1) replacement units, and 2) second or third 360 units for an individual home/user (e.g. a 360 in the family room and bedroom). Originally Posted by Indy_aka_Rex

I myself have two. Perhaps, a better indicator of the true 1-to-1 install base would be software sales between the PS3 and the 360. You could use the sales to interpolate the actual values of the install base, assuming the PS3 has less owners of multiples. But, in the end, it's all just guesstimation.
