    The ones in this thread are fair, as they are pretty standard numbers (7.5, 8.5 etc). Darkfalz' sig had ever-moving goalposts, and were changed several times to continue to show the 360 in a superior light. Towards the end, he had like 12+ lines, and things down to the hundreth-place in decimal points. It wasn't "number of games above 7.5" - it was "percentage of games between 8.82 and 8.85, on fridays, after work, from 7-9pm".

    Stats aren't inherently unfair nor misleading, it's what is done with them that make them so. He was guilty of that, and ign is arguably not

    Disagreed. The best game console should be rated on it's games and gaming features first and foremost. It's technical merits come after. No point in being the most powerful gaming console if in general the games and game features fall short to the competition. Relate it to PC gaming vs console gaming. PC gaming > console gaming in technical merits yet but the games, in general, fall short in comparison and moreso today. Thing is both sides, PC vs console, 360 vs PS3, have their ups and downs. Some games are exceptions, others aren't.
