Default Wipeout HD drops 9/25 for $19.99

its on wipeouthd.com and says it will be $29.99. But the game is download only and only 8 tracks, wtf? Im gonna pass on it. I wont spend anymore than $10 on a d/l game cause I prefer physical disc so I can resell down the road. 8 tracks is weak, its like GT5P all over again

Well, one less game on my list for the rest of this year.

8 tracks isn't exactly new...news. Of course, that's why it's not a retail game. Given all the features in the game, I think 29.99 is a great deal (well, assuming it's good...but it's Wipeout, I'm expecting it will be). I thought they'd go 39.99.

I can't wait, I'll be buying this the day it's up. It better be up next month though!

Quantum Redshift on Og. Xbox is the best Future Racing game I played. I would love a new one.
Hell a new Blood Wake would be fun also.

Let us not forget F-Zero.

Futuristic racing games are just plain fun.

I thought Fatal Inertia was kinda fun. Haven't bought it yet, but the demo was kinda cool. Not sure if it's worth $30, though. >_> >_> >_>

Eh the price is steep. I was hoping $19.99. This game has been delayed for over a year now. With that said, I'm not going to get excited again in case there are more delays. Also where on the site? can't find lol

£15 to £20 will do me. 8 wipeout tracks for that price is better than GT5p IMO.

Wipeout > All!

Yes F-Zero was a great game back in the day. Have not played it recently to see how it holds up though.

damn 30 bucks? way too expensive. I know it looks like a ps3 game but as a psn title its just too much. maybe if it was sold in the stores so people could own a pyshical copy it would be worth a buy. they should just have done a complete game and sold it for 60 bucks.

This seems to be the way of the future, raising prices on awsome download titles. They know we want them and if they can get away with higher prices they will. I paid $15 for Braid and $20 for the new Penny Arcade game. Great titles that may make their way to the PS3. Just wait.

I'm sold. I too thought it was gonna' be $40, but I'll take $30 just as happily. I'm a Wipeout junkie and this franchise is one of the reasons I picked up a PS3.

I agree. $30 for something I can't feel is too much for me. But if it was $30 for the disc I'd actually do it.

I 've heard nothing but negative things about Fatal Inertia. I suggest you keep your $30 or spend them on Wipeout instead.
